Selection
of Suppliers
Successful research requires finding and commissioning
knowledgeable specialists experienced in the specific work
to be carried out. Sometimes subject matter expertise is
paramount - identifying researchers who are expert in a
particular product/service area, such as financial
services, pharmaceuticals, telecommunication services,
managed health care, or automotive vehicles, or in a public
policy field such as education, the environment,
transportation, or healthcare.
Other times, it is more important to find specialists in
specific types of information collection and analysis
(methodology). And sometimes both subject matter and
methodological expertise are necessary.
GR&C can advise on what types of expertise are right
for your particular research needs and help you find the
appropriate resources.
We can play a role in supplier selection by organizing and
implementing a formal RFP process, drafting a statement of
work, developing a list of candidate firms to be invited to
receive the RFP, and reviewing proposals.
Or, we can assist in less formal ways by obtaining relevant
information about company capabilities and recommending a
small set of firms to consider.
Over two decades of experience in the survey and marketing
research industry has resulted in broad base of knowledge
about who does what and who does it best.
