Public
Opinion on Terrorism and U.S. Foreign Policy
Groeneman Research & Consulting completed
a wide-ranging review and analysis of post-9/11 U.S. public
opinion focusing on perceptions of the threat from Islamic
terrorism, views about state supporters of international
terrorism, America's Middle East policies, Israel and the
Palestinians, and the United Nations. This work was
conducted for the Foundation for the Defense of
Democracies, a non-profit and non-partisan organization
based in Washington, D.C. that conducts research and
education on the war on terrorism (www.defenddemocracy.org). FDD
produces independent analyses of global terrorist
threats, exploring the historical, cultural,
philosophical and ideological factors that drive
terrorism and threaten the individual freedoms
guaranteed within democratic societies.
