Federal
Agency Employee Internet Survey
Groeneman Research & Consulting helped
design and conduct a survey of senior-level employees about
intra-organizational issues at a regulatory agency in
Washington. As a subcontractor to the Institute for Human
Development (www.ihdinc.org), a Ft. Washington,
MD management consulting firm, GR&C participated
in preliminary in-depth interviews to identify
relevant issues for the survey, drafted the
instrument, and then programmed the survey for
web-based administration. The employee sample was sent
a letter containing a link to the survey and
requesting cooperation, and this initial contact
letter was followed by several e-mail reminders as an
effort to boost response. The completion rate for the
survey exceeded 80%. GR&C also consulted on the
data analysis for IHD's report.
